Your rates, without the typing
On Octopus Energy, your tariff syncs itself from your account and re-syncs nightly. E.ON Next and EDF connect in beta. Everyone else: forward a bill to your private Suntide address and the rates arrive read, checked and filled in.
Every figure says where it came from: read from your bill, worked out from your bill, or our best guess, please check. When a bill doesn't print a real rate, Suntide asks rather than averaging, because a blend of your cheap and expensive hours is not a rate.
The bill document is deleted the moment you confirm; only the numbers stay.
The numbers add up: £32.61 energy + £13.86 standing charge + £2.32 VAT = £48.79, exactly the total printed on the bill. That's how we know we read it right.
