Grid events
Paid to help the grid, only when it pays you
Get paid to help the grid
When the grid needs power, it pays handsomely for an hour of your battery. Suntide drives the export for the window, restores your normal settings the moment it ends, and marks what you earned from what your inverter measured, a day later.
You choose the level of trust: automatic, or a push notification that runs nothing until you arm it. Either way Suntide refuses events that would lose you money, and shows the arithmetic when it declines. On tariffs with negative price hours, it charges your battery while you're being paid to take the power.
What it has paid so far
£11.82 earned
6 events in 13 days. 11.8 kWh exported, measured at the inverter. Between £1.62 and £1.88 each after the cost of refilling the battery.
One household, one fortnight. Yours will differ. Suntide refuses an event that would lose you money, and shows the arithmetic.
