Suntide Link In development
Your inverter, read at home
The Link is a small device on your own network. It reads your inverter directly, every few seconds, with no manufacturer cloud in between. About £29, one-off. It is in development and not yet on sale. It is running on real homes today.

Why a box, when there is a cloud
It keeps working
Your monitoring stops depending on a manufacturer's cloud, its outages or its pricing. Where a manufacturer charges for cloud access, the Link removes the need to pay for it to use Suntide.
It is faster
Manufacturer clouds give a reading every five minutes, minutes late. The Link reads every few seconds, so the live picture is live.
It opens more brands
Some inverters have no cloud route a household can use. They connect through the Link. See which.
The facts
- It reads your inverter. It does not write to it.
- It joins your Wi-Fi by Bluetooth from the Suntide app. You claim it by pressing its button.
- Local access for other tools, such as Home Assistant, is off by default and needs an access code you can change.
- The Home Assistant integration is open source and reads the Link once a second.
- Some inverters need an adapter or cable as well. We tell you which before you order.
