Suntide for Solis owners
Solis hardware is solid and everywhere. The app tells you what's happening; it doesn't tell you whether your setup is costing you money. Suntide watches your system every five minutes, scores the configuration against your goals, and proves — in pounds — what your battery earns.
We'll email when Suntide opens for Solis systems — and nothing else.
Suntide connects with the KeyID and KeySecret from your own SolisCloud account, so you stay in control. One quirk to know: Solis enables API access per account, on request — many owners don't have keys yet. It's a support ticket, not a technical task, and this guide works whether or not you ever use Suntide.
In SolisCloud, open Service → Technical Support (or email your regional Solis support) and send them this:
Hello, Please enable API access on my SolisCloud account so I can use a third-party monitoring service. Account email: [your SolisCloud login email] Plant / station name: [your plant name] I understand the KeyID and KeySecret will appear in my account settings once enabled. Thank you.
Enabling usually takes a few working days. When Suntide is set up with your email, it tracks this pending state and nudges you when it's worth checking — you can explore the full product in demo mode meanwhile.
They appear in SolisCloud under Account → API Management. Paste them into Suntide; your live power flow appears within seconds. Credentials are encrypted with a dedicated key and are never shown again by any part of Suntide.
Charge window aligned with your cheap rate? Reserve set sensibly for your goal? Export clipped while prices were positive? Each finding comes with its cost and the exact fix steps for the Solis app.
Apply a fix and press “verify” — Suntide checks the following days of data and shows the before and after. No other Solis tool closes that loop.
Monthly proof of earnings against a home with no battery or solar, a tariff benchmark, and battery health trends — readable by the whole household.
